Shivani : I need you to bring Nithya and come to the lab . I found something important for the case .

Arjun : Ok we will there in afternoon ( ends call )

Arjun : Atharva , i need you take care of the footage and try to get the original one . i have to go now

Few hours later . Evening - Forensic lab

Arjun parked the car in front of the forensic lab, the evening sky casting a dim orange glow over the building. He stepped out and walked around to open the door for Nithya. She adjusted her mask and slowly got out, her eyes scanning the quiet entrance. Without a word, they exchanged a glance and walked side by side toward the lab doors — the air tense, the weight of the case pressing heavier with each step.

The glass doors slid open as Arjun and Nithya entered the forensic lab. The white lights inside felt harsher after the soft hues of dusk outside. Nithya, wearing a mask, stayed close behind Arjun, her steps cautious.

As Arjun and Nithya stepped into the dimly lit corridor of the forensic lab, the echo of their footsteps filled the silence. The soft whir of equipment buzzed from behind closed doors. Just then, one of them opened — Shivani stepped out, removing her lab coat sleeves from her gloves, eyes lighting up as she saw them.

Shivani (with urgency): "You’re here. I was just about to call again."

Nithya, masked and quiet, stood beside Arjun as he stepped forward.

Arjun: "What did you find?"

Shivani (nodding toward the room): "Something that could shift the entire direction of this case. Come in, quickly."

Shivani led them through a narrow hallway and into a restricted lab room. Inside, a team of doctors in white coats moved around quietly, immersed in research. The room smelled faintly of chemicals and metal.

Arjun’s eyes narrowed as he noticed a human-like dummy lying on a table — eerily realistic, with pale synthetic skin dressed up in shirt and pant . Wire connected to buzzing machines and glowing monitors.

He stepped closer, studying the setup.

Arjun (low voice): "What is this…?"

Shivani joined his side, her expression serious.

Shivani : I will explain them . Nithya, i need you to stab this dummy as much hard you can

Arjun : Ms. Shivani, she's pregnant

Shivani : Don't worry nothing will happen . Come Nithya

Nithya looked at Arjun unsure hesitantly . Arjun nodded at her to go on. Nithya hesitantly took the knife from Shivani , her hand shook with nervous and scared . she slowly walked to the dummy doll . Nithya looked at Arjun and Shivani before turning back to dummy on stretcher and started to stab them . She was careful not put pressure as she didn't want to hurt her unborn child. Nithya stabbed how hard and force she can.

Shivani : I think that's enough for now , Nithya you can stop . Arjun i need you to stab the dummies as hard as you can

Arjun : Why sho--

Shivani( cutted him off ) : Arjun sir, please i need to confirm my theory and i will explain everything to you

Arjun sighed and took the knife from table and started the dummy doll . The machine beeped as it recorded the reading from the stabs . After sometime Arjun stopped and Shivani was doing research in the computer.

Shivani : my theory is correct Arjun . Nithya didn't kill Naveen .

Arjun : How can you sure about this shivani ?

Shivani : I had doubts seeing the stab wound and their pattern and it was confirmed because of Simulated Stabbing.

Arjun : Simulated Stabbing ? . What does it mean ?

Shivani: Simulated stabbing is a forensic technique where we recreate a stabbing under controlled conditions. By analyzing the force, angle, and wound patterns from the test stabs, we compare them to the actual injuries on the victim.

When I examined Naveen's stab wounds, they were deep — brutally deep — like someone stabbed him with rage and intent to kill.
But when Nithya stabbed the dummy, even with all her strength, it didn’t come close to matching that level of force.

Arjun : So it means...?

Shivani : Yeah, Nithya is Framed.
